She thrives on motivating others towards achieving their version of success and loves helping others create systems in their lives that work! This expert on productivity, organization, small business, and systems for financial management has been a sought-after keynote speaker and featured in publications such as Forbes and Entreprenuer.com- among others for her no-excuse tone and relatable story. No stranger to struggle, Kristy’s passion is deeply rooted in helping others START or maybe even reSTART in different areas. Taking creative visions, a financial plan, and implementing systems, she has created solutions that work. Helping others to create a plan, get organized, and start or restart! She helps other small businesses optimize their efforts through systems and branding. She speaks at private company events and even universities such as Harvard. Kristy holds a financial and business degree from Kennesaw State University, but she attests it is her vast business and life experience that is giving her her “degree’’ where growth was fortified from the struggle.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

A Heart For Business

I know with complete clarity that THIS is what I am supposed to be doing. I am so grateful for this journey and this life. I will talk about my business credentials for clarification in the next section below, but I first want you to hear my heart.

I am at a place in my life and career where I am making my own focused efforts, and if I don't LOVE it then I am not doing it. I love business, and I love helping others, and START is that bridge that allows me to do that. So many things have come together for this alignment. Take the 1926 Farmhouse for example, which is our headquarters and space to do this work. I feel like I am one with this home. The old floors, the walls, the fireplace, all of it, are overflowing with stories to tell.

At the 1926 Farmhouse I feel safe and at home, excited to be here and ready to create. That is what I want you to feel like in this space. Whether it be via our online environment or an in-person experience, I want you to feel at home, safe, and empowered! I want the Farmhouse to be somewhere where you can go for guidance and also be pushed to help you to see a different way.

My goal is to use my experience and knowledge to help you project your product/service in the right way. It really is all weaved in and works together, and I know my heart is here doing all this. I do believe we all need coaches in our life that can see things we can't see, push us, or even realign us. I am doing this because I believe your gift is worthy of the world, and I know I can help you structure your company so you can do what you love with freedom!

HOW ARE YOU QUALIFIED?

14 Years of Entrepreneurship

Formally, I do have a degree in Finance and Business management, but it is truly my life experience and personal journey that has given me the ability to see solutions and make business decisions. I currently operate three online brands and have commercial development and other commercial leases in place. Here is a brief synopsis of my career to date:

2009- 2015
Worked as a professional photographer with a focus on weddings.
2012
Started teaching systems and finance to other entrepreneurs through workshops, publications, and speaking engagements.
2011- 2014
Developed and sold an online software directory.
2015
Launched STARTplanner.
Scaled to 7-figure sales within one year.
2017
Launched StartDetoxing. Had 2 years of profitability before electively stopping. Sold brand in 2022.
2018
Acquired and managed first commercial property.
Wrote and published the Start Balancing.
2019
Launched an Airbnb property.
Over 6-figure income in the first year, then sold the business and home in 2021 for 7-figures.
2020
Investor for JmStorm.com and launched the brand.
2021
Acquired commercial land for development and created Vision Properties.
2021
Acquired residential land for development.
Sold in 2022
2022
Acquired commercial farmhouse.
2023
Launched theSTARTapproach.com to help other entrepreneurs find freedom.

You should know...

I love traveling, exploring, anything on any body of water, and the meaning behind things. I love anything where I can get lost in the moment.
I am a Christian, and I believe my entire journey is all for His purpose for my life, and I am grateful for it all.
I also believe in divine alignment. You will often find me aligning my schedules, my own alignment dates, and my own zodiac. I also do things such as clearing rooms, placing crystals, and clearing chakras in order to have an optimal environment for myself and others.
Through my own personal journey and story, I have extensive knowledge of detoxing and health.
I love some good coffee, quiet coffee shops, CrossFit, yoga and interior design.
I am an Aries. I am a passionate fire sign. My human design is a projector, and I believe all the variables coupled with my design give me a unique ability to see others' visions and align their unique path to success.
I am competitive! But I have learned not all things are worth my energy and competition.
